The Judges Panel
Recognizing the crown beyond the stage.
The Crown Standard
Our judges are looking for contestants who embody confidence, authenticity, and poise both on and off the stage. We value individuals who carry themselves with grace, communicate clearly, and demonstrate a genuine sense of self. Contestants should reflect strong character, a positive attitude, and a heart for community and service. Beyond beauty, we are seeking well-rounded individuals who show passion, ambition, and the ability to inspire others. Each winner should represent the Crown of Carolina with integrity, purpose, and pride.

She is honored to serve as a judge today and is excited to celebrate the confidence, authenticity, and heart each contestant brings to the stage.

Still have questions?
No—there are no required contracts or mandatory appearances.
We encourage our titleholders to make at least four appearances throughout the year wearing their crown and sash, tagging Crown of Carolina along the way. This helps build confidence, community, and visibility—but it is not required.
If they’d like to return and help at future preliminaries, we absolutely love that… but again, it’s completely optional.
Our pageant is designed to highlight both confidence and personality through:
Beauty (Evening Wear)
Interview
Fun Fashion
Optional Competitions (such as Photogenic)
Each category is structured to be age-appropriate, empowering, and confidence-focused.
Interview is one of the most valuable parts of the experience—it’s where confidence truly shines.
Ages 0–2: “Playtime Interview” with a parent present
Ages 3+: One-on-one conversation with judges
This is not about perfection—it’s about personality, communication, and being yourself.
Not at all.
Whether this is your first pageant or your fiftieth, Crown of Carolina is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and beginner-friendly while still offering a high-end experience for seasoned contestants.
Absolutely not.
We celebrate age-appropriate beauty and individuality.
Our focus is on confidence—not perfection.
Hair, makeup, and styling should enhance—not mask—who you are.
Contestants will follow a simple T-style walking pattern on stage.
This allows each contestant to showcase their confidence and personality in a structured, easy-to-follow format. Judges are also mindful of timing, keeping each contestant’s stage presence to approximately one minute.
Our titleholders receive more than just a crown—they gain:
A beautiful crown and sash
Recognition and visibility within the community
Opportunities for personal growth and confidence building
A chance to represent Crown of Carolina throughout the year
We also pride ourselves on offering judges’ scores, feedback, and a complimentary interview video to help every contestant grow—whether they win or not.
Yes!
We do not have a non-compete policy. Contestants are welcome to compete in other systems and enjoy all the opportunities pageantry has to offer.
We are more than a pageant—we are a confidence-building experience.
What sets us apart:
Judges’ feedback + scoring transparency
Complimentary interview video for growth
A focus on the 4 C’s: Community, Compassion, Character, and Courage
A welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced contestants
Our goal is that every contestant leaves feeling seen, celebrated, and stronger than when they walked in.
